इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य ओडिशा राज्य के सभी भूमिहीन किसानों की मदद करना है।
BALRAM (Bhoomihina Agriculturist Loan & Resources Augmentation Model)
ओडिशा सरकार द्वारा प्रक्षेपित बालाराम’ योजना के तहत, सरकार ने दो वर्षों में 7 लाख भूमिहीन किसानों को कृषि ऋण देंगे। इस उद्देश्य के लिए सरकार ने 1,040 करोड़ रुपये की राशि निर्धारित की है।
The government of Odisha state has launched a new scheme to provide agriculture credit to landless farmers who are jobless after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Under the scheme, the agriculture credit of Rs. 1,040 crores will be provided to around 700000 farmers of the state in order to improve their financial condition.
Balaram Yojana has been launched to cope up with the situation of the global pandemic. The credit facilities will be provided to the landless farmers so that they should move out from the economic side back due to covid-19.
Scheme Implementation Plan Agendas
– The plan was designed in collaboration with (NABARD). – About 70,000 groups will receive farm loans, farmers eligible for a maximum loan of Rs 1.60 lakh. – There are approximately 7000 branches of various banks and PACS in rural and semi-urban areas. – Through this scheme, real on-the-ground agricultural activities will receive a credit flow of around Rs. 1040 crores. – The state government aims to provide farm loans to seven lakh landless farmers in the next two years.
Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Balaram Yojana
Farmers must meet the following eligibility requirements: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state. The only applicants who are farmers by profession are eligible for this scheme. Landowner Farmers are not eligible for this scheme.
