The motive of the government in preparing the BPL category list is to provide help to needy people through social welfare schemes. BPL List (Till 2024) Based on (SECC-2011) NREGA Data

People can check their name in the BPL list through any of the 2 methods described below:-

1. Based On Inclusion & Exclusion in the NREGA Scheme

In Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA Scheme), under this scheme most of the BPL households are covered/included, hence, you can check names in the BPL list by looking at the list of NREGA job cards at its official website. For checking names in the all-India final BPL list, based on the NREGA job cards list, below is the complete procedure:-

STEP 1: To download the BPL List from SECC 2011 Data (based on MGNREGA data), candidates can directly click this link – https://nrega.nic.in/.

STEP 2: To check your name in the IPPE2 final BPL list, candidates can click the “State Name” to reach the next page which will be displayed as below.

STEP 3: On this screen, users have to select the financial year (Up to 2024), district, block, and panchayat and then click on the “Proceed” button which will take you to the list of NREGA job cards (Almost all those belongs to the BPL families).

STEP 4: On the next page, you will see the complete list of all NREGA Job Cards or most of the BPL candidates as shown below.

STEP 5: Finally, candidates can click the “Job Card Number / जॉब कार्ड संख्या” to check the complete details of that particular candidate.

However, there is no option to download this IPPE2 SECC list / BPL list file in MS Excel or PDF format. Moreover, candidates can print it also using the “Print” command in Windows (ctrl+P). If any person belonging to the BPL category can find their name in the downloaded SECC 2011 data list (All India Final BPL List 2024), then the person would be eligible to avail benefits of various govt. schemes.

Candidates can press the ctrl+F buttons to open the find dialog and search their name in the BPL list based on NREGA until 2024. If there are multiple entries with the same name, then match it with the address, name of parents, and other details.

• Total excluded households 7.07 crore (39.35%)
• Motorized 2/3/4 wheeler/fishing boat.
• Mechanized 3-4 wheeler agricultural equipment.
• Owning at least 7.5 acres of land or more with at least one irrigation equipment.
• Kisan credit card with a credit limit of over Rs. 50,000/-
• Household member government employee.
• Households with non-agricultural enterprises registered with the government.
• Any member of the household earning more than Rs. 10,000 per month.
• Paying income tax.
• Paying professional tax.
• 3 or more rooms with pucca walls and roof.
• Owns a refrigerator.
• Owns a landline phone.

How to Download SECC 2011 BPL List PDF

The complete step-by-step process to check the SECC 2011 BPL list is given below.

• Step 1: First visit the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) official website to check the SECC 2011 list https://secc.gov.in
• Step 2: At the home of the official website go to “State-wise & Zone-wise” and click on “SECC Data Summary”.
• Step 3: State and zone-wise BPL list will open as shown below.

• Step 4 : Click on state then you will see SECC list 2011 data summary.
• Step 5 : SECC 2011 final list contains the total number of district, total number of villages, number of towns, total number of households rural and all other data of states of country.

Procedure to check List via Mobile Application

• To check the BPL list through a mobile application you have to download the ration card list application from the Google Play Store first
• To do so you have to open the Google Play Store on your mobile phone
• Search the BPL ration card list app by entering the search bar
• The application will appear on the screen click the application
• A new page will open from where you have to click on the install button
• Let the application download to your mobile phone and then open it
• Now you have to select the information like state district block village etc
• A list of BPL card holders will appear on the screen and ask for your selection as you press the submit button

MGNREGA Convergent Planning List

All the people can also check their name in the MGNREGA convergent planning list. This list is prepared by the central govt. after the inclusion of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Indira Awas Yojana (IAY), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) and National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) beneficiaries. This list would contain the SECC TIN Number, district, tehsil/taluk, block, gram panchayat, village name, household size, age, gender, social category, and job card details.

SECC-2011 Data Summary – Deprivation Households Data

People can check the SECC 2011 Data Summary at the official website – https://secc.gov.in/ and the entire summary report can be checked at the link – https://secc.gov.in/getSeccDataSummaryNationalReport.htm

Click at the option of “Save Report” to save the entire SECC-2011 data report in the “Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet” file. Candidates can even check the zone-wise list which comprises of the type of households, gender, disability, education, caste, income, and employment profile along with assets and land ownership. In addition, a wise list is available for SC / ST / Female / Disabled and other categories people. All the displayed data is based on income source, salaried jobs, house type, exclusion, inclusion, and deprivation.

The total number of households belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) which is an economic benchmark in India stands at about 107.4 million (10.74 crore) in 2011 as per the official data.
